What Makes Our Instructor Program Different?
We give every instructor:
- Step-by-step training (no guesswork) – We walk you through each requirement, form, and skill so you know exactly what to do and when.
- Hands-on observation + real class experience – You won’t just read a book. You’ll watch real classes and practice teaching with live students.
- AHA-compliant teaching pathway – Everything we do follows the American Heart Association standards and instructor cycle.
- Instructor mentorship and feedback – You’ll receive coaching on your teaching style, classroom flow, and skills delivery.
- Access to your eCards for issuing student certificates once aligned.
- Credly Digital Badge for Instructors – When you complete the program, you’ll receive a verified digital instructor badge you can share online so others can instantly confirm your credential.
- A professional training location in Hiram, GA – Learn and teach in a real classroom with manikins, AED trainers, and equipment.
You will be trained the SAME WAY you were trained as a student — and the same way YOU will train others.

How Long Does the Instructor Training Take?
Most students complete the full pathway in within -2 days, depending on:
- How quickly they complete the online Essentials course
- Our class schedule for observation
- When they are ready for their monitored teaching day
Why some programs say “2 days”:
- Day 1 = Orientation + Observation
- Day 2 = Monitored Teaching + Exams
If your observation and teach day occur back-to-back, it becomes a 2-day program.
If they are scheduled separately, it may be split across different days.
